Meet the Makers
Hi, I’m Bailey Schoemann—a third-generation rancher and first-generation silversmith, currently living in Belvue, Kansas.
Growing up on my family’s Kansas ranch instilled in me a deep love for agriculture and the courage to pursue my creativity. As a young girl, I was always finding ways to document ranch life and our time on the rodeo road—through drawing, painting, and eventually photography and graphic design. That passion led me to major in agricultural communications at Kansas State University, where I discovered the perfect way to blend my love for this industry with my artistic side.
After graduating during the pandemic, I found myself back in my small hometown, working a 9-to-5 communications job and searching for a creative outlet. My mom and I decided to take a beginner’s silversmithing class, and from there, Lucky Silver was born!
Spending summers in the back of a Dodge Ram, traveling the Midwest for barrel racing and watching my brother compete in calf roping and team roping, I was deeply immersed in the western fashion world. These days, I may have traded my barrel horses for my ranch mare, Okie, and my time in the arena for engraving—but I love every moment of creating beautiful, handcrafted western jewelry that fits every budget!
